What Our Visitors Say
Since attending group therapy with Lynda, my daughter’s confidence and self-esteem has increased dramatically. My daughter says she feels less worried and can use the strategies she learned, to work through her difficulties.”
Parent/ Carer
Play therapy with Lynda was fantastic for my son, he is now more able to focus on and complete tasks and has become more engaged in classroom activities. He is now able to play with other children, instead of playing on his own all the time.
Parent/ Carer
I can’t believe the difference in my child since the therapy intervention with Lynda. My son is more able to regulate himself and is more able to express his emotions and deal with daily events, which he previously had difficulty with.
Parent/ Carer
Play Therapy has helped my son so much. He seems much happier and has less tantrums and can talk about his emotions and cooperates with me now, more often than before.

Lynda is highly conscientious and is thoughtful in every aspect of her work. She has excellent communication skills and has worked effectively with many of our children and teachers over two years. Her professional and positive manner has enabled the ‘team around the child’ to work effectively together.
Lynda was able to add an extremely positive provision for some of our most vulnerable children. The impact of her work could be seen in a number of ways and the parents have reported many positive outcomes for their children.
You have been utterly amazing! Thank you so much for your dedication to our children.

Lynda is a clear and sensitive communicator; she listened and responded sensitively to both the needs of the children and staff, for example if a child was finding it tricky to leave the classroom to attend therapy, Lynda adapted and worked alongside the child in the space the child felt most safe, until they were ready to go to the therapy room.
The children gained so much from attending therapy and were able to use strategies in school and at home.
I would recommend Lynda as a Play Therapist without hesitation.

The difference Play Therapy had on the children in my class was incredible. The relationships they built with Lynda gave them a trusting space they could explore previous experiences in, such as grief.
A child who had previously found play challenging could access a range of play experiences by the end of his sessions.
Lynda treated each child as individual and would ensure she had full knowledge of how to support them within the session. She would tailor children’s sessions to meet their needs.
I would definitely recommend Lynda as a Play Therapist. The relationships she built with the children was incredibly special and allowed her to effectively work with each child. She has had true success with the children within my class and has made lifelong changes to these children.

Virginia Axline
It is by playing and only in playing that the individual child is able to be creative and to use the whole personality, and it is only in being creative that the individual discovers the self.
D.W. Winnicott
Play Therapy is a time when the therapist in all genuineness tries to see and understand the world exactly as the child views it.
Carl R. Rogers
Play is a child’s life and the means by which he comes to understand the world he lives in.
Susan Isaacs
The modern profession of play therapy finds its roots in a long and global tradition of the use of play to promote psychological development and well-being in people of all ages.
